BMW Made Google Available In Its Navi System

Didn’t you know that BMW is also rolling out a new navi system and this time it is better than the previous one? Wow. It sounds like you are not surprised. Me neither. And now both the Z4 and X3 has the navigation system that can actually use Google.com’s official website. BMW thought that Google is a useful site so decided to make it available in their new navigation system with Bluetooth connectivity. Now if you have it you can use it for free in the navigation system.

Google also defines some of the car parts like Chevy cobalt performance parts so it is very useful to drivers like you. It also has the ability to import ten RSS feeds into the BMW’s computer, allowing you to check up on the happenings in the automotive world to your obsessions over at Autoblog. Just try to avoid gawking at galleries while en route to pick up the kiddies.

OnStar And SYNC Combined

Is it possible for all technology on cars to combine together to make a perfect system that could have them all in one machine? Well, I am not saying that this will actually happen but it is possible, right? Just like OnStar and SYNC which is reported to have combined each system.

Ford’s Sync is now making it possible for the GM’s Onstar to connect to each other in terms of safety navigation and communication. Atlanta-based Hughes Telematics is announcing a new system that will fuse both of those systems into a comprehensive whole and selling a subscription service akin to OnStar’s arrangement as the Autoblog.com reports.

The Hughes made the turn-by-turn navigation, voice commands for phones and iPods, plus provide emergency and roadside assistance. They also open the options for those customers who are willing to add more features on their systems like Sirius. However, every customer has to pay additional cash for the options they want to add.

Hughes will be releasing the entire details soon including the new upgrades on the new system. The partnership with Chrysler will also be on news plus some more collaboration with other luxury car brands. I wish they also take in the Nissan tune up parts.
