Apple iPod On Its 100 Million Units Sold

Apple iPod

The Apple iPod’s popularity was never deniable. All the people around the world are going crazy and making sure that they do gett one of this mini and very portable music and media player. I mean because it has become so popular, they developed the iPod Mini, iPod nano, iPod shuffle, and, the most sought after iPod of the car enthusiasts, the hook up iPod. Now, who would not wish to have one of those?

And my goodness, I was never kidding when said they already sold over a hundred million iPod units around the world after its release in November 2001. This was the largest sales among the music players and competitors.

Apple also release iPod accessories such as iPod cases, iPod earphones and home players including the hardware that allow the owner to play the music player on various cars. These additional accessories made it even more popular.

Aside from that, iPod has become a Volkswagen part that you can play it inside your car using the portable iPod player hardware. Maybe because iPod is user friendly plus it has been made to give the user an easy time in downloading music. Even its official website, the iTunes, has gained much popularity as well.

With the sales they made for 6 years, I guess more people will continue to patronize the Apple’s very own iPod.

Gin Blossoms Drove My Car

Nothing’s more uplifting than listening to Gin Blossoms. I never miss their albums since they debuted in the late 80s. Actually, from the start, I bought their CDs from their very first album up to the latest.

New Miserable Experience, The Millennium Collection, Up and Crumbling, Dusted, Congratulations I’m Sorry, Major Lodge Victory etc. I have them all!

Oh yes, I’m a pure-blooded Gin Blossom fanatic! I never miss listening to one of Gin Blossoms’ tracks whenever I drive my car. I mean you should try it, too, for this group’s song are feel-good music to the soul, especially when driving during a long trip and you’ll never get bored traveling with Gin Blossoms! Just like the cooling parts in your car that give you that relaxing feeling!

I want to share one of my personal favorites with you - the song “My Car”. Try to look at the wonderful lyrics and listen to its soulful harmony. Hope you’ll like it and I’m pretty sure you’ll do!

***
My Car
Gin Blossoms

Streetlights on, the night air’s cool
I’m driving right past my old school
I’m looking for my pack of cigarettes
I’m thinking back on things I’ve done
I can’t forget the stupid ones
It seems I do my best by accident
What’s that sound, what’s that song
What’s this street I’m driving on
In my car
In my car
I miss her feel, her touch, her taste
I feel the distance everyplace
This distance can’t be taken casually
I take my time, just drive around
Feeling lost in my hometown
Every turn I take is comforting
What’s that sound, what’s that song
What’s this street I’m driving on
In my car
In my car
I’ll take a break from all their big plans
My first mistake was listening to them
I made a mess it’s all been proven
Over and over again
Over and over again
Streetlights on, the night air’s cool
I’m driving right past my old school
Looking for some face I can’t forget
I take my time, just drive around
Feeling lost in my hometown
Every turn I take’s an accident
What’s that sound, what’s that song…
