Ford Sync: An All-in-One Car Digital System

Ford SyncEver dreamed of having all your gadgets in one machine? Well, everything is possible with Ford. You can have your mobile phone and other portable music players in one gadget called the Ford Sync.

The Ford Sync is the latest factory-installed technology in car used for communication and it is also an entertainment system capable of playing all your digital media portable music players as well as your mobile phone all in one device. The Sync will be available on 12 of its car models including Lincoln and Mercury products beginning this calendar year.

The Sync is the newest technology that comes as a product of the partnership of Ford and Microsoft. With its new fully integrated system, you can now safely use your mobile phone while driving, store names and numbers wirelessly, and read your text massages while driving. The gadget is voice-activated and it has also been created to be a hands-free communication system – this is called the voice command. Push the button on the steering wheel and say the name of the person you wish to call. The system does the rest.

The new Ford part is also capable of playing your portable music player like the iPod and MP3. It displays the album, the title and the singer of the song being played. You don”t even have to use you hands to change the music. Choose a song by using the voice command. It recognizes the file name of the song you want to hear.

With this new gadget, you will now feel like a true “Boss”.

Bluetooth Soundstation car kit

Speaking of another brand-new year, do you suppose the word multitasking has found its way on the language of Ian Paige and the rest of them highway stars at Deep Purple? It may be possible, but doubtful if they ever use it except in expletives.

Multitasking is a science, and only now that it has become acceptable. It is, in most cases. Like, when you’re in the office, and when you’re working, and when you’re…in the office. It’s ridiculous to apply it while one is behind the wheels.

If you happen to require so-called gadget enhancements for mobility, you’ll appreciate this Bluetooth Soundstation car kit from Novomax. And if you think you need it, you may be spending an insanely huge amount of time on the phone inside the car.

It has an OLED screen that supports functions such as caller ID, battery status, and phone book downloading. It has a simultaneous two-link connection capability, which means it can support two mobile phones at the same time.

Now, that’s way overboard, or is it just me?
